SALWAAT (HADITH)

1. Imam Ali ibne Moosa Reza (a.s.) said:
"One who does not have any means to get his sins forgiven then he should recite Salwaat on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny abundantly as it wipes out the sins."

Then he (a.s.) said: Reciting Salwaat on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny is like
Tasbeeh
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ
(reciting SubhanAllah)

Tahleel
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا الَّلهِ 
(reciting La Ilaha Illallah)

and Takbir
اَللَّهُ اَكْبَرُ
(reciting Allahu Akbar) near Allah, the High."

●Imam Ali ibne Moosa Reza (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Jis kisi ke paas apne gunaah bakshwaane ka rassta na ho use chahiye ke Rasool (s.a.w.a.) aur unki aal (a.s.) per kasrat se Salwaat bheje, ke isse gunaah khatm ho jaate hain."

Aapne mazeed irshaad farmaya, "Rasool (s.a.w.a.) aur unki Aal (a.s.) per salwaat padhna Allah ke nazdeek misle
Tasbeehe
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ
(Subhanallah) hai,

Tahleele
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا الَّلهِ 
(La Ilaha Illallah) hai

aur Takbire
اَللَّهُ اَكْبَرُ
(Allahu Akbar) hai.

2. Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said:
"When someone says,
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ 
(swalli ala muhammadin wa aalehi)
then Allah, the High replies swallallahu alaika i.e. on you be Salwaat and mercy. Then you increase it (i.e. you recite Salwaat as much as possible).

Then he (s.a.w.a.) said: If a person says
صَلَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَيٰ مُحَمَّدٍ
(swallallahu ala Muhammad)
and does not recite Salwaat on my progeny, then he will not find the aroma of paradise. The Aroma of paradise is found from a distance of five hundred years."

●Rasoole Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Jab koi
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ 
(swallallahu ala Muhammad)
kahta hai tab Allah t'ala is ke jawab mein kahta hai 'swallallahu alaika' yaani tumhare (salwat kahne wale ke) uper salwaat aur rahmat ho. Tab tum ise (salwaat ko) mazeed padho."

Phir aap (s.a.w.a.) ne aage irshaad farmaya: "Agar koi insaan
صَلَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَيٰ مُحَمَّدٍ
(swallallahu ala Muhammad)
kahe aur meri aal per salwaat na bheje to use jannat ki khushbu nahi milegi. Jannat ki khushbu 500 saal ki duri se aati hai."

3. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said:
"If you recite namaaz and you do not remember Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) (i.e. you don’t recite Salwaat on him), then you have sent your namaaz to a place other than paradise. Then he (a.s.) said that Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said: One who does not recite Salwaat on us when we are remembered before him, then he will enter hell. And Allah has no concern with him."

●Imam Ja'far Sadiq (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Agar tum namaz padho aur Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ko yaad na karo (yaani tum Salwaat na padho), to tum ne apni namaz Jannat ke alawa kahi aur bhej di. Phir aapne farmaya ke Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya: Jo shakhs salwaat na padhta ho ke jab ke uske saamne hamara zikr aaye to wo Jahannam mein jaayega aur Allah (s.w.t.) ka usse koi t'alluq nahi."

4. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said:
"On the eve of Thursday and the night of Friday, angels descend with gold pens and silver papers. From the eve of Thursday till the sunset on Friday they do not write except Salwaat on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny."

●Imam Ja'far Sadiq (a.s.) ne irshad farmaya:
" Jumeraat ki shaam aur Jume ki shab mein farishte sone ka qalam aur chaandi ka kaghaz lekar naazil hote hain. Jumeraat ki shaam se lekar Jume ka din dhalne tak ye (farishte) kuch nahi likhte siwaye Rasule Khuda(s.a.w.a.) aur unki aal per bheje gaye Salwaat ke."

5. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said:
"No action is superior on Friday except reciting Salwaat on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny."

●Imam Ja'far Sadiq (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Jume ke roz koi amal afzal nahi hai siwaye iske ke Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) aur unki aal per salwaat bheja jaaye."

6. Imam Mohammad Baqir (a.s.) and Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said:
"On the day of resurrection, the heaviest thing on the scale (الْمِيْزَان) will be the Salwaat recited on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny."

●Imam Mohammad Baqir (a.s.) aur Imam J'afar Sadiq (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Roze Mahshar (Qayamat) ke din, meezaan (tarazu) per sabse wazni (bhaari) cheez Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) aur Aale Mohammad (a.s.) per bheja hua salwaat hoga."

7. Ameerul Momeneen Ali ibne Ali Taalib (a.s.) said:
"Recite Salwaat on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny because Allah accepts your supplications due to their remembrance. You pray for them, certainly they (a.s.) will protect you."

●Ameerul Momeneen Ali ibne Ali Taalib (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Rasool (s.a.w.a.) aur unki aal (a.s.) per salwaat bhejo kyunke unke zikr ki wajah se Allah (swt) tumhaari duao ko qabool karta hai. Tum unke (a.s.) ke liye dua karo, yaqeenan wo tumhari hifazat karenge."

8. Imam Ja'far Sadiq (a.s.) said:
"When you commenced any supplication, begin with the recitation of Salwaat on Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) as Salwaat on Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) occupies the position of accepted supplication near Allah. And Allah never accepts some supplication and rejects the other."

●Imam Ja'far Sadiq (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Jab tum koi dua' maango to uski shuruaat (aghaaz) Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) per salwaat bhejne se karo ke Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) per bheja hua salwaat Allah (swt) ke qareeb ek maqbool dua ki haisiyat rakhti hai. Aur Allah (swt) kabhi aisa nahi karta ke ek dua ko qabool kare aur dusri ko rad kar de.

9. Imam Hasan Askari (a.s.) said:
"Surely Allah, the Blessed, the High has taken Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s.) as His 'Khaleel' because of his ample recitation of Salwaat on Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny."

●Imam Hasan Askari (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Yaqeenan Allah subhanahu wa t'aala ne Hazrat Ibraheem (a.s.) ko isliye apna 'Khaleel" banaya kyunke wo Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) aur unki aal (a.s.) per kasrat se salwaat bhejte the."

10. Holy Prophet(s.a.w.a.) said:
"Don’t beat your infants when they cry. As for the first four months, when they cry they give witness to the Oneness of Allah, the Blessed, the High. In the succeeding four months they recite Salwaat on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his infallible progeny and in the next four months they pray for their parents."

●Rasoole Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Jab tumhare sheerkhwaar (chote Bachche) royein to unko maaro mat, ke pahle 4 mahine mein wo rote hue Allah subhanahu wa t'aala ki tauheed ki gawaahi dete hain, agle 4 mahine wo Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) aur unki paak aal (a.s.) per salwaat bhejte hain aur agle 4 mahine wo apne waledain ke liye du'a karte hain."

11. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said:
"One day Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said to Imam Ali (a.s.): O Ali! Should I give good news to you?” Ali (a.s.) replied: "Yes, may my parents be sacrificed on you, no good news descends on you except there is goodness in it." He (s.a.w.a.) said: “ Jibrael has just given me an amazing news. Ali (a.s.) asked him about the news. He (s.a.w.a.) said: Jibrael informed me that a person from my nation who recites Salwaat on me and my progeny, then for him the doors of the skies are opened, angels recite seventy Salwaat on him. And if he is a sinner then his sins will fall like leave falls from the tree. Allah, the Blessed, the High says to him, O my servant! I am listening to you, happiness is for you. Then Allah says to the angels, you recite seventy times Salwaat on him, I am reciting Salwaat seven hundred times on him."

Then Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said: If someone recites Salwaat on me and does not recite the Salwaat on my progeny, then between him and the heavens there are seventy veils. Allah, the High says to him, I am not listening to you and there is neither happiness nor good news for you. O My angels! Do not bring up his prayers except that he attaches himself to My Prophet and his progeny.” Then the veils will continue till he attaches himself to my Ahle Bait (a.s.).

●Imam J'afar Sadiq (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Ek din Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne Imam Ali (a.s.) se irshaad farmaya, "Aey Ali (a.s.) kya main aapko ek khushkhabri du?" Imam Ali (a.s.) ne jawaab mein kaha, "Ji haan, mere maa baap aap per qurban ho, koi khushkhabari aap per naazil nahi hoti ke siwaye usmein khair ho." Aap (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya, "Jibraeel (a.s.) ne abhi-abhi mujhe ek khabar di hai." Imam Ali (a.s.) ne us khabar ke bare mein daryaft kiya, aap (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad kiya, "Jibraeel (a.s.) ne khabar di hai ke, meri ummat mein koi shakhs mere aur mere Ahle Bait (a.s.) per salwaat bhejta hai to uske liye aasmaan ke darwaaze khul jaate hain, farishte us shakhs per salwaat bhejte hain. Aur agar wo gunaahgaar hua to uske gunaah misle darakht ke patte jhadh (gir) jaate hain. Allah subhanahu wa t'aala usse kahta hai, "Aey mere bande! main tumko sun raha hu, tumhare liye khush'haali hai." phir Allah farishto se mukhatib hokar kahta hai, "Tum is (shakhs) per sattar (70) martaba salwaat padho, Main saat sao (700) martaba salwaat phadta hu."

Phir Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya, "Agar koi shakhs mere uper salwaat phadhta hai lekin mere Ahle Bait (a.s.) per salwaat nahi pahta hai to uske aur jannat ke darmiyaan 70 parde hain. Allah subhanahu wa t'aala usse kahta hai, Main tumhe nahi sun raha hu aur tumhare liye na to koi khair hai aur na hi koi khushkhabri hai. Aey mere farishto! Iski koi namaaz mujh tak na laana siwaaye is ke wo aapne aapko Rasool (s.a.w.a.) aur unke Ahle Bait (a.s.) se munsalik na kar le." Phir wo parde haayal rahenge ke jab tak wo (shakhs) aapne aapko mere Ahle Bait (a.s.) se munsalik na kar le."

12. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said:
"Whenever the name of Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) is taken in front of you, then you should recite Salwaat as much as possible because when someone recites one Salwaat on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) then Allah makes thousand rows of angels to recite thousand Salwaat on the person. And there is no creature of Allah but it recites Salwaat on that person on whom Allah and His angels recites Salwaat. The person, who does not do so, is an arrogant and ignorant. And Allah, His Prophet and the Infallible Ahle Bait (a.s.) are far from such person."

●Imam Ja'far Sadiq (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Jab kabhi Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ka naam tumhare saamne liya jaye tab tumhe chahiye ke tum jitna ho sake utna salwaat padho kyunke agar koi shakhs Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) per ek salwaat padhta hai to Allah (s.w.t.) farsihto ki hazaar qataaro se us shakhs per salwaat padhwaata hai. Aur Allah (s.w.t.) ki koi aisi makhlooq nahi hai siwaye iske ke wo us shakhs per salwaat bheje ke jispe Allah (s.w.t.) aur uske farishte salwaat bhejte ho.
Jo Shakhs aisa nahi karta (yaani salwaat nahi bhejta) wo mutakabbir aur jaahil hai. Aur Allah (s.w.t.), Uska Rasool (s.a.w.a.) aur masoom Ahle Bait (a.s.) aise shakhs se door hain."

13. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said:
"Should I teach you a thing through which Allah, the Blessed, the High will protect your face from the heat of the hell? The narrator replied in affirmative. He (a.s.) said: Recite

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Allahumma swalli a’la muh’ammad wa aali muh’ammad

hundred (100) times after morning prayers. By doing so, Allah, the High will protect your face from the heat of the hell."

●Imam Ja'far Sadiq (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Kya main tumhe ek cheez ki ta'leem du ke jiski wajah se Allah subhanahu wa t'aala tumhare chehre ki jahannum ki aag se hifaazat karega?" Raawi ne kaha, Ji haan!
Aap (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaaya,

"اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Allahumma swalli a’la muh’ammad wa aali muh’ammad

ki namaze subh ke b'aad 100 martaba tilaawat karo. Aisa karne se Allah subhanahu wa t'aala tumhare chehre ko jahannum ki aag se bacha lega."

14. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said:
"Whoever recites Salwaat on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny, Allah records hundred goodness in his account of deeds. And whoever says

صَلَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَيٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ
(Swallallahu a’la Muh’ammadiw-wa-ahli baitihi)

Allah writes thousand goodness in his account of deeds."

●Imam Ja'far Sadiq (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Jis kisi ne Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) aur unki aal (a.s.) per salwaat padha, Allah (s.w.t.) uske liye 100 nekiya darj karta hai. Aur jis shakhs ne kaha

صَلَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَيٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ
(Swallallahu a’la Muh’ammadiw-wa-ahli baitihi)

Allah uske liye 1000 nekiya likhta hai.

15. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said:
"Whoever says

رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ  
(Rabbi swalli a’la Muh’ammadiw-wa-ahli baitehi)

hundred (100) times in a day, Allah fulfills his hundred desires, thirty of this world and seventy of the hereafter"

●Imam Ja'far Sadiq (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Jis kisi ne din mein 100 martaba kaha

رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ  
(Rabbi swalli a’la Muh’ammadiw-wa-ahli baitehi)

Allah (swt) uski 100 khuahishaat puri karega, 30 is duniya ki aur 70 akherat ki.

16. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said:
"Recite Salwaat loudly as it removes hypocrisy from the heart."

●Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Salwaat baland (unchi) awaaz se padho ke isse nifaaq door hota hai."

17. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said:
"One who recites one Salwaat on me, Allah, the High recites ten Salwaat (i.e. confers mercy) on him. If he recites ten Salwaat, then Allah recites hundred Salwaat on him. If he recites hundred Salwaat, then Allah recites thousand Salwaat on him. If he recites thousand Salwaat, then Allah forbids fire of hell on him forever."

●Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Jis kisi ne mere uper ek salwaat bheja, Allah subhanahu wa t'aala us shakhs per 10 salwaat bhejta hai (yani rahmatein naazil karta hai). Agar us shakhs ne mere uper 10 salwaat bheje to Allah us shakhs per 100 salwaat bhejta hai. Agar us shakhs ne mere uper 100 salwaat bheje to Allah us shakhs per 1000 salwaat bhejta hai. Agar us shakhs ne mere uper 1000 salwaat bheje to Allah us shakhs per jahannam ki aag ko haraam kar deta hai."

18. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said:
"On the day of judgement the best person will be the one who recited Salwaat on me the most in the world."

●Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Qayamat ke din sabse behtar insaan wo hoga ke jisne mere uper duniya mein sabse zyaada salwaat padha hoga."

19. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) in his will to Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) said:
"O Ali! Whoever recites Salwaat on me every day or every night then his intercession is obligatory on me though he may be from sinners."

●Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne apni wasiyat mein Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) se irshaad farmaya:
"Ya Ali! Jis kisi ne mujh per her din ya her raat salwaat padha to mujh per uski shifaa't waajib ho jaeygi chahe wo gunahgaar mein hi se kyu na ho."

20. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said:
"One who recites Salwaat on me then Allah on the day of resurrection will create light (noor) on his head, left, right, front, back, up, down and on all the parts of his body."

●Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Jis kisi ne mere uper salwaat bheja, Allah (swt) roze qayamat uske sir pe, uske daaye, uske baaye, uske aage, uske peeche uske uper, uske neeche aur uske jism ke har aaza per noor khalq karega ."

21. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said:
"Jibrael has informed me that one who recites one Salwaat on me then seventy thousand angels recite Salwaat on him. On the one seventy thousand angels recites Salwaat, then he is from the inhabitants of paradise."

●Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Jibrael (a.s.) ne mujhse bayaan kiya ke jis shakhs ne mujh per ek salwaat padha to us shakhs per 70,000 farishte salwaat padhte hain. Jis kisi shaks per 70,000 farishte salwaat padhe to wo shakhs saakine jannat hai."

22. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said:
"The supplications are veiled till Salwaat is recited on me and my progeny."

●Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Duaaein parde(hijab) mein rahti hai jab tak mere aur meri aal (a.s.) per salwaat na bheja jaaye."

23. Imam Mohammad Baqir (a.s.) said:
"There is an angel from angels who listens to the supplications of the servants, seeks from Allah and gives to the servants. Allah will keep him alive till the Day of Judgement. There is not a believer who recites

صَلَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمْ

(Swallallahu a’la Muh’ammadiw-wa-aalihi wasallam)
except that the angel replies

وَ عَلَيْكَ السَّلاَمُ

( wa alaikas-salam).

Then the angel says to Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a) that so and so has sent salaam to you. Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) says, Salaam be on him."

●Imam Mohammad Baqir (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Farishto mein eK farishta hai jo bando ki duaao ko sunta hai, Allah (swt) ki taraf se usko ata karta hai. Allah (swt) usko roze mahshar tak zinda rakhega. Koi momin nahi hai jo

صَلَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمْ

(Swallallahu a’la Muh’ammadiw-wa-aalihi wasallam)
padhe siwaaye iske ke wo farishta jawaab de

وَ عَلَيْكَ السَّلاَمُ

(wa alaikas-salam).

Phir wo farishta Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) se kahta hai ke fulaan ne aapke liye salaam bheja hai. Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) irshaad farmate hain, Salaam ho usper bhi."

24. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said:
"One who writes my name in a book and writes Salwaat on me after it, angels will seek forgiveness for him till the name remains in the book."

●Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Koi shakhs mera naam kitaab mein likhta hai aur phir mere uper salwaat likhta hai to farishte uske liye astaghfaar karte hain tab tak ke jab tak wo naam us kitaab mein maujood hai."

25. Abdus Salaam ibne Naeem said to Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.),
"I entered the Kaba and I did not recite any other supplication except Salwaat."
Imam (a.s.) said: "It is the most superior act you did."

●Abdus Salaam ibne Naeem ne Imam Ja'far Sadiq (a.s.) se arz kiya,
"Main Kaba mein daakhil hua aur maine koi dua nahi padhi siwaye Salwaat ke."
Imam (a.s.) ne Irshaad farmaya: "Ye sabse aa'la a'mal hai jisko tumne anjaam diya."

26. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said:
"One who recites hundred Salwaat on Friday, Allah will forgive his sins of eighty years."

●Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Jis kisi ne Jum'a ke din 100 martaba salwaat padha, Allah uske 80 saal ke gunaah maaf kar dega."

27. Abdullah ibne Mughaira says that I heard Abul Hasan (a.s.) saying: "One who recites

إِنَّ اللّٰهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ ۚ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسْلِيمًا

Innallaha wa malaikatahu yuswalloona a’lan-nabi yaa ayyuhal ladheena aamanoo swallu a’laihi wa sallimoo tasleemaa

after the morning and maghrib prayers before talking or moving from his place. Then recites

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّهِ وَ زُرِّيَتِهِ

allahumma swalli a’laa muh’ammadin-nabiyyihi wa dhurriyyatihi,

then Allah will accept his hundred desires, seventy relating to this world and the remaining pertaining to hereafter."

●Abdullah ibne Mughaira bayaan karte hain ke unhone Ameerul Momineen Ali ibne Abi T'alib (a.s.) se suna:
"Jo shakhs namaze subh aur namaze maghrib ke baad bina bole aur bina apni jagah se hate padhe,

إِنَّ اللّٰهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ ۚ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسْلِيمًا

Innallaha wa malaikatahu yuswalloona a’lan-nabi yaa ayyuhal ladheena aamanoo swallu a’laihi wa sallimoo tasleemaa

aur phir iske baad kahe

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّهِ وَ زُرِّيَتِهِ

allahumma swalli a’laa muh’ammadin-nabiyyihi wa dhurriyyatihi,

to Allah uski 100 khuwaahishaat ko puri karega, 70 is diniya ki aur baqya Akherat ki."

28. It is narrated in Maanil Akhbaar that the narrator asked Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) that how he should recite Salwaat on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny. He (a.s.) said:

صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ وَ صَلَوَ١تُ مَلآءِكَتِهِ وَ اَنْبِيآئِهِ وَ رُسُلِهِ وَ جَمِيْعِ خَلْقِهِ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ

Swalawaatullahi wa swalawaatu malaaikatihi wa ambiyaaihi wa rusulihi wa jameei’ khalqih a’laa muh’ammadiw-wa aali muh’ammadiw-was-salaamu a’laihi wa a’laihim wa rah’matullahi wa barakaatuh.

Narrator asked about the reward for the one who recites this Salwaat? Imam (a.s.) replied: "He becomes pure from sins like he has just born."

●Maanil Akhbaar mein riwayat hai ke raawi ne Imam Ja'far Sadiq (a.s.) se pucha ke Rasool (s.a.w.a.) aur unki Aal (a.s.) per salwat kis tarah bhejna chahiye.

Imam (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:

صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ وَ صَلَوَ١تُ مَلآءِكَتِهِ وَ اَنْبِيآئِهِ وَ رُسُلِهِ وَ جَمِيْعِ خَلْقِهِ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ

Swalawaatullahi wa swalawaatu malaaikatihi wa ambiyaaihi wa rusulihi wa jameei’ khalqih a’laa muh’ammadiw-wa aali muh’ammadiw-was-salaamu a’laihi wa a’laihim wa rah’matullahi wa barakaatuh.

Raawi ne is salwaat ke padhne ka sawaab pucha. Imam (a.s.) ne jawaab mein irshaad farmaya: "Is Salwaat ke padhne wala saare gunaaho se is tarah paak ho jayega ke jaise wo abhi paida hua hai."

29. Sheikh Abul Fath Razi narrates from Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) that He (s.a.w.a.) said,
"On the night of me’raj when I ascended to the heavens, I saw an Angel who had thousand hands. On each of his hands there were thousand fingers, and he was counting something. I asked Jibrael as to who that Angel was and what was he counting? Jibrael replied that the Angel had been appointed by Allah to count the drops of rain, so that it may be known as to how many drops have fallen down to the earth. I turned towards the Angel and asked him, “Do you know the total amount of the rain-drops which have fallen down on the earth from the day Allah has created this world till now”? To which he replied. "O Prophet of Allah I swear by my Lord who has chosen you (as a blessing) for mankind, verily I know the total amount of rain-drops fallen on the earth till now. Even to the extent that how many drops have fallen in the wilds, in the prosperous lands, in the gardens and also in the cemetery". Then I told him that I was very much surprised by the power of his mind and intellect and the ability to remember, to which he replied, "O Prophet of Allah! Verily this ability to count proves futile I try to count one thing". I asked him as to what calculation was that. He replied, “When people of your nation gather at one place and send Salwaat upon you, it is beyond my ability and capacity to count the rewards for it."

●Sheikh Abul Fath Razi Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) se riwayat karte hain ke, Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya, "Shabe Me'raj jab main aasmaano per pahuncha, to maine ek farishte ko dekha jiske hazaar haath the. Har ek haath mein hazaar ungliya thi aur wo kuch gin raha tha. Maine Jibrael se pucha ke wo farishta kaun hai aur wo kya gin raha hai? Jibrael ne jawab diya ke Allah ne is farishte ko baarish ke qatraat ginne ke liye muqarrar kiya hai, aur wo ye jaanta hai ke zameen per barish ke kitne qatraat gire hain. Main us farishte ke qareeb gaya aur usse pucha, "Kya tum jaante ho ke jab se Allah ne is duniya ko khalq kiya hai zameen mer baarish ke kitne qatraat gire hain?" Us farishte ne jawaab diya, "Ya Rasul Allah Main us Rab ki qasam kha ke kahta hu ke jisne aapko logo ke liye muntakhab kiya hai, behsak mujhe pata ke ab tak zameen per barish ke kitne qatraat gire hain. Yaha tak ke kitne qatrat jangalo mein, kitne khush-haal zameeno per, kitne bagh mein aur kitne qabristaan mein gire hain wo bhi jaanta hoon." Tab maine usse kaha mujhe t'ajjub hai uski aql aur zahan per aur uski yaad-daasht per, to usne is baat per kaha ke, "Ya Rasul Allah (s.a.w.a.)! Behsak meri ye ginne ki taqat bekaar saabit hoti hai jab main ek cheez ko ginne chahta hoon." Maine pucha ke wo kya hai. Usne jawab mein kaha, "Jab aapki ummat ek jagah jama hoti hai aur aapke uper Salwaat bhejti hai, tab usper milne wale sawab ko ginna meri salahiyat se baahar hai."

30. Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) says that on the night of Meraj, Janabe Jibrael took me by the permission of Allah to see the castes in paradise. I saw that the castles were made up of gold and silver. They were adorne with Musk and Amber. I noticed some of the castles were glowing and beautiful as compared to others. I asked Janabe Jibrael why some of these palaces were not as beautiful and decorated as compared to the others. Janabe Jibrael informed me that these castles belonged to those people who were lazy while reciting Salwaat on you and your progeny after namaaz. If they overcome their indolence while reciting Salwaat after namaaz their palaces will also be adorned otherwise they will remain like this. When the inhabitants of the paradise will watch these palaces, they will be informed that the owners of these palaces were lethargic while reciting Salwaat on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny after namaaz.

●Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya,
"Shabe Meraj, Jibrael mujhe Allah (s.w.t.) ke izn se Jannat le gaye. Maine kuch qile' dekha jo sone aur chandi se bane the. Unko Musk aur Amber se zeenat di gayi thi. Maine paya ke kuch qile' dusro ke muqable zyada khoobsurat the aur zyada chamak rahe the. Maine Jibrael se pucha ke kyu ye kuch qile' dusre qilo ki tarah khoobsurat nahi hain? Jibrael ne jawaab diya ke ye qile' un logo ke hain jo namaz ke baad aap per aur aap ki aal per salwaat bhejne me susti karte the. Agar wo apne aapko is susti (aalas) se nikaal lete to un ke qile' bhi khoobsurat hote. Jab ahle jannat in qilo ko dekhenge to wo ek dusro se kahenge ke in qilo' mein rahne wale Namaz ke baad Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) aur unki Aal (a.s.) per salwaat bhejne mein sust the.

31. Imam Mohammad Baqir (a.s.) said:
"A person will be burning in fire for seventy autumns and each autumn will be equal to seventy years. Suddenly by the right of Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny, he will seek salvation from the punishment from Allah. Allah will order Jibrael to go and free him from the punishment. Jibrael will ask Allah that how he should go to fire. Allah will inform him that He has ordered the fire of Hell to become cold for him. Jibrael will question Allah about the place of the person in the hell. Allah will inform him that he is in 'Sijjeel'. Jibrael will remove him from the hell. Allah will ask him: 'How many years have you tarried in the hell?' He will reply: 'I have no account of it.' Then Allah will say "I swear by My Might that if you would have not prayed like you have prayed I would have increased your stay in hell. I have made obligatory upon Myself that whoever prays with the right of Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny. I would forgive all his sins which are between Me and him. The same I have done with you."

●Imam Mohammad Baqir (a.s.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Ek shakhs aag mein 70 Mausam ke liye jalega. Har ek Mausam 70 saal per mushtamil hoga. Phir wo Allah (swt) se Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) aur aap (s.a.w.a.) ke Ahlebayt (a.s.) ke haq ke waste rahmat ka sawaal karega to Allah (swt) Jibrael ki taraf wahi farmaayega ke jao aur mere is bande ko aag se nikaal lo. Jibrale puchenge ke ke wo kaise us aag mein jaaye. Allah (swt) irshaad farmaayega ke Usne Jahannam ki aag jo uske (Jibrael ke) liye thandi kar di hai. Jibrael jahannam mein us shakhs ki jagah ke baare mein puchenge. Allah irshaad farmayega ke wo shakhs 'Sijjeel' mein hai. Jibrael usko jahannam ki aag se nikaal denge. Allah (swt) us shakhs se sawaal karega, "Tum Jahannam mein kitne saal rahe?" wo jawab dega, "Main shumaar nahi kar sakta." Phir Allah (swt) irshaad farmayega, "Qasam hai mujhe meri izzat ki ke agar tum us tarah dua na karte ke jaise tumne ki hai to main tumhe Jahannam mein aur kai saal tak rakhta, Magar Maine apne uper waajib kar liya hai ke jab koi mujh se Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) aur aap (s.a.w.a.) ke Ahlebayt (a.s.) ke haq ka wasta dekar sawal karega main uske gunaho ko m'aaf kar dunga (wo gunaah) jo uske aur mere darmiyaan hain. Aur maine tumhare liye yahi kiya hai.

32. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) quoting his ancestors has said that Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said:
"On the day of resurrection, I will be present at Meezan. When the scale of sins of someone will be heavy than the scale of goodness, I will put Salwaat on the scale of goodness till it becomes heavy than the scale of sins."

●Imam Ja'fat Sadiq (a.s.) ne farmaya ke unke jad Rasule Khuda (s.a.w.a.) ne irshaad farmaya:
"Main Qayamat ke din mizaan ke qareeb honga, jab kisi ki buraai uski nekiyon se zyeda bhari hongi to main un salwaat ko rakh dunga jo mujh per bheje gaye the yahaa tak ke us ki wajah se us ki nekiyaan bhaari ho jaayein.

33. It is narrated in Mafaateehul Jenaan under the aamaal of Friday that it is highly recommended to recite the following Salwaat thrice:

صَلَوَاتُ ا اللَّهِ وَ صَلَوَ١تُ مَلآءِكَتِهِ وَ اَنْبِيآئِهِ وَ رُسُلِهِ وَ جَمِيْعِ خَلْقِهِ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ عَلَىٰ اَرْوَاحِهِمْ وَ اَجْسَادِهِمْ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ

Swalawaatullahi wa swalawaatu malaaikatihi wa ambiyaaihi wa rusulihi wa jameei’khalqihi a’laa muh’ammadiw-wa aali muh’ammadiw-was-salaamu a’laihi wa a’laihim wa a’laa arwaah’ihim wa ajsaadihim wa rah’matullahi wa barakatuh.

●Mafaateehul Jenaan mein Jum'a ke roz ke amaal mein zikr hai ke is salwaat ko 3 baar padhna mustahab hai:

صَلَوَاتُ ا اللَّهِ وَ صَلَوَ١تُ مَلآءِكَتِهِ وَ اَنْبِيآئِهِ وَ رُسُلِهِ وَ جَمِيْعِ خَلْقِهِ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ عَلَىٰ اَرْوَاحِهِمْ وَ اَجْسَادِهِمْ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ

Swalawaatullahi wa swalawaatu malaaikatihi wa ambiyaaihi wa rusulihi wa jameei’khalqihi a’laa muh’ammadiw-wa aali muh’ammadiw-was-salaamu a’laihi wa a’laihim wa a’laa arwaah’ihim wa ajsaadihim wa rah’matullahi wa barakatuh.

34. When Firaun was killing the male progeny of Bani Israel and burying their women and they were put under severe troubles, Allah ordered Hazrat Moosa (a.s.) to inform the Bani Israel that before commencing any work they should recite Salwaat on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny. When they commenced their works with Salwaat, their works were completed easily and when they forsake reciting Salwaat they were involved in difficulties.

●Jab Firaun bani Israel ke mardo ko qatl kar raha tha aur unki aurto ko zameen mein dafn kar raha tha aur wo shadeed mushilaat mein giraftaar the, Allah (swt) ne Hazrat Musa (a.s ) ko wahi farmayi ke wo Bani Israel ko taleem dein ke jab bhi wo koi kaam shuru karna chahe to usse pahle Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) aur unke Ahlebayt (a.s.) per salwat padhe. Jab wo apne kaam ki ibteda Salwaat se karenge to unka kaam asaani se anjaam payega aur jab wo salwat ko tark kar denge to unke kaam mein mushkilaat ayengi.

35. The women of Bani Israel due to the fear of Firaun had left their children in the desert after reciting ten Salwaat on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny. Allah, the High appointed an angel to take care of them. He made milk to flow from one finger and food from another till they grew.

●Bani Israel ki aurtein Firaun ke khauf se apne bachho per 10 martaba Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) aur unke Ahlebayt (a.s.) per salwaat padh ke sehra mein chorh aati thi. Allah (s.w.t.) un bachho ki dekhbhaal ke liye ek farishte ko muqarrar karta tha. Allah (swt) un bachho ke ek ungli se sheer (doodh) aur dusri se khane ko jaari kar deta tha jab tak ke wo bade na ho jaayein.

Mujh par Salwaat zyada bheja karo, chaandni raat mein, raushan din mein aur Shab e Juma aur Roz e Juma 100 martaba bhejo aur agar aur zyada ho to baais e fazilat hai.

37. Rasule Khuda (saww):
Mujh se Jibreel ne kaha, "Aye Muhammad (saww), jo tum par Durood (Salwaat) bhejega uspar 70000 Farishte Durood bhejenge aur wo Ahl e Jannat se hoga."

38. Riwayat:
H. Salman ne farmaya, 'Ek din Imam Ali (as) ka ek be-aab o gayaah sehra (banjar registaan / arid desert) se guzar huwa. Raaste mein ek parinde ko dekha to oos se daryaaft kiya ke tum kitne arsey se is biyabaan mein reh rahe ho?" Parinde ne arz ki, "100 saal se". Aap (as) ne puchha, "Tere khaane peene ka bandobast kya hai?" Parinde ne arz ki, "Jab bhi bhook lagti hai aap par SALWAAT bhejta hoo'n to seyr ho jaata hoo'n, jab pyaas lagti hai to aap ke dushmano'n par LA'NAT bhejta hoo'n jis se seyraab ho jaata hoo'n'".

39. Riwayat:
Jab H. Adam (as) H. Hawwa ki taraf aaye to arz ki, "Aye Mere Parwardigaar, Hawwa ko mere liye halaal farma de". 
Khuda Wande Mut'aal ne farmaya, "Uska Haqq e Meher adaa karo taake usay tumhare nikah mein le aaoo'n". 
Arz ki, "Parwardigaar, mere paas to kuchh bhi nahi hai". 
To irshaad huwa, "10 martaba Muhammad (saww) aur unki Aal (as) par Salwaat bhejo". 
Phir H. Adam (as) ne 10 martaba Salwaat padhi to Khuda ne H. Hawwa ko aap par halaal kiya. 
Lihaza, agar Muhammad (saww) aur aap ki Aal e paak (as) par Salwaat H. Hawwa ka Meher ho sakti hai to Huur ul Ein ka Meher kyun nahi ho sakti?

40. Rasule Khuda (sawa):
Jo shakhs mujh par subah o shaam 10 - 10 martaba Salwaat padhta hai to main usay wo cheez de deta hoo'n jiski usay zarurat hoti hai.

●Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafa  (sawa) said:
The one who recites Salawaat on me (and my progeny )10-10 times in the morning and evening i will give him those things which he is in need of.

41. Sadqa & Salawaat on Shabe Juma
Imam Sadiq (as):
Shabe Juma aur Juma ke din SADQA dena aur SALAWAT padhna 1000 nekiyo ke barabar hai, is se 1000 buraiyan khatam hoti hai aur 1000 darjaat buland hote hai.

●Imam Sadiq (as)
Giving charity and reciting Salawat on Thursday night and on Friday is equal to 1000 virtues, it removes 1000 evil deeds and elevates your status 1000 times.

42. Riwaayat:
Jab koi shakhs Paigambar e Akram (saww) par Salwaat bhejta hai to Aalam e Ghaib mein se munaadi nidaa deta hai, "Khudaya! Is shakhs ne 10 martaba Salwaat bheji hai". Jab ye awaaz aasmaan par pahu'nchti hai to wo Salwaat 1000 guna (1000 times) ho jaati hai. Sidrat ul Muntaha tak yehi silsila rehta hai. Jab Sidrat ul Muntaha par pahu'nchti hai to 7000 guna ho jaati hai. Phir Khuda Wande Mut'aal ek Farishte se farmata hai, "Tum Mere bande ki Salwaat ka jawaab nahi de sakte, usay Mujh par chhor do taake usay uski jazaa ataa karu'n. Uska inaam yehi hai ke uske tamaam gunaah maaf karu'n".

43. Rasule Khuda (saww):
Aye Ummat e Muhammad (saww)! Jab tum masaaib o alaaim mein giraftaar ho jao to Muhammad (saww) o Aale Muhammad (as) ko yaad karo taaki Allah unki barkat se oon Farishto'n ki - jo tum par muwakkil hain - Shaitano'n ke muqable mein madad farmayein.

44. Rasule Khuda (saww):
Aye Ummat e Muhammad (saww)!
Jab tum masaaib o alaaim mein giraftaar ho jao to Muhammad (saww) o Aale Muhammad (as) ko yaad karo taaki Allah unki barkat se oon Farishto'n ki - jo tum par muwakkil hain - Shaitano'n ke muqable mein madad farmayein.

45. Rasule Khuda (saww):
Jo shakhs bhi har roz mujh par 100 martaba Salwaat bhejta hai to wo oos waqt tak duniya se Nahi ja sakta jab tak ke Jannat mein apni jagah dekh na le.

46. Rasule Khuda (saww):
Jo mujh par 100 baar Salwaat bhejta hai Allah uspar 1000 baar Salwaat bhejta hai aur jispe Allah 1000 baar Salwaat bheje usay Jahannum ki Aag chhu nahi sakti.

47. Rasule Khuda (saww):
Jab koi Momin is duniya se rehlat kar jaata hai jab ke wo is duniya mein ek aisa waraq (paper) chhor gaya ho jis par Ilm e Deen ki baatein likhi ho to yahi kaagaz Qayamat ke din Aatish e Jahannum aur uske darmiyaan hifazati parda saabit hoga aur Khuda Wande Aalam uske har ek Harf (letter) ke badle duniya ki chauraayi se zyada aur jo kuchh is duniya maujood hai, oon se behtar silaa ataa farmayega.

48. Rasule Khuda (saww):
Jo shakhs kisi kitaab ya navishte mein mere liye Salwaat likhta hai to jab tak mera naam oos kitaab mein rehta hai Farishte bargaah e Khuda mein uske liye Dua e Maghferat karte hain.

49. SALWAAT GHEEBAT SE ROKTI HAI
Riwayat:
Ek din Khuda ke kisi Wali ne H. Ilyaas (as) ya H. Khizr (as) se shikayat ki ke log gheebat karte hain aur is baare mein meri baat nahi maante aur is bure kaam se haath nahi khe'nchte. Aap farmaye ke main kya karu'n? H. Ilyaas (as) ne farmaya, "Iska ilaaj ye hai ke jab bhi aise koi aise afraad ke paas jaaya karo to ye alfaaz kaha karo, BISMILLAH HIR RAHMAAN NIR RAHIM WA SWALLALLAHU 'ALAA MUHAMMAD WA AALI MUHAMMAD. Pus, oos waqt Khuda Wande Mut'aal ek Farishta logo'n par muayyan karta hai taake jab bhi koi gheebat karne ka irada kare to wo unhe oos amal se baaz rakhega. Phir H. Khizr (as) ne farmaya, "Agar koi shakhs kisi mehfil se uthh'te waqt ye mazkura Salwaat padhe to Khuda Wande Mut'aal ek Farishte ko bhejta hai taake is mehfil waale logo'n ko is shakhs ki gheebat na karne de'n".

50. Imam Sadiq (as):
…Juma Musalmano'n ki Eid hai jo Eid ul Fitr aur Eid ul Qurban se bhi afzal hai. Aur 18 Zilhajj yaani Eid e Ghadeer tamaam Eido'n se afzal hai. Aur hamare Qaim e Aal e Muhammad (atfs) Juma ke din zahoor farmayenge aur Qayamat bhi Juma ke din qayam hogi. Aur Juma ki din sab se afzal amal sarkaar e Muhammad o Aal e Muhammad (as) par Durood o Salaam bhejna hai.

51. Imam Sadiq (as):
Jise Haajat dar-pesh ho aur Dua maange to Dua ki ibteda mein Muhammad (saww) aur Aal e Muhammad (as) par Durood padhe aur Dua ke ikhtetaam par bhi Muhammad aur Aal e Muhammad par Durood padhe, kyun ki Allah Ta'ala ne to Durood ko har soorat mein qubool karna hai aur ye uski shaan e Karimi ke khilaaf hai ke Dua ke pehle aur aakhri hisse ko qubool kare aur darmiyaani hisse ko na-manzoor kar de.

52. Rasule Khuda (saww):
In logo'n ko kya ho gaya hai ke jab unke saamne H. Ibrahim (as) ki aal ka zikr kiya jaata hai to ye khush ho jaate hain aur jab unke saamne Aal e Muhammad (as) ka zikr kiya jaata hai to unke chehre khauf-zada ho jaate hain aur unke dilo'n mein nafrat paida ho jaati hai? Mujhe qasam hai Oos Zaat ki Jiske qabza e qudrat mein Muhammad (saww) ki jaan hai, agar koi shakhs Qayamat ke roz 70 Ambiya ke barabar amal lekar bargaah e Khuda mein haazir hoga aur uske dil mein meri aur mere Ahlebait (as) ki Wilayat na hogi to uska koi amal bhi qubool nahi kiya jayega.

53. Imam Kazim (as):
se puchha gaya ke, "Allah Ta'ala, Uske Farishto'n aur Momino'n ki Salwaat se kya muraad hai?"
Aap (as) ne farmaya, "Allah ki Salwaat Uska Rehmat naazil karna hai, Farishto'n ki Salwaat unka tahaarat aur paakizgi ka ailaan hai aur Momino'n ki Salwaat unke liye Dua hai".

54. Imam Ali (as):
Gunaaho Ko Khatm Karne Ke Liye SALWAAT Bhejnaa Goyaa Paani Ke Zariye Aag Bhujaane Se Zyaadaa Behtar Hai.
